With over 10 years’ experience in clinker research, cement production and raw mix design optimization, GORD Institute can confidently assess the feasibility of materials for cementitious use (supplementary or raw material). With the only group in Qatar carrying out high temperature cement research, we have a wide range of furnaces to heat and sinter materials including under gaseous environments. Our state-of-the-art Hesse Heating microscope can be used to determine materials’ melting behavior preventing damage to industrial heating equipment including kilns and incinerators.  XRD and XRF can also be carried out to determine cement and raw material quality, with isothermal calorimetry also available for hydration and reactivity studies.
